Key Contributors :

NLSIU’s teaching and learning outcomes as well as graduation outcomes have been key contributors for its success. “We aim to sustain our performance in these parameters, but will redouble our efforts and focus on Research and Practice as well as our Outreach and Inclusivity,” Prof Krishnaswamy said.

Recalling the pioneering efforts of NLSIU’s Founder-Director N. R. Madhava Menon, the Vice Chancellor said that it is Prof Menon’s institutionalizing of ‘strong teaching and learning cultures’ that has served as a foundation for the continuing success of NLSIU today.

NLSIU would like to thank and acknowledge the efforts of the former VC of NLSIU, Prof. R Venkata Rao and his leadership team that helped contribute to this ranking.

Strengthening core competencies:

Reacting to the announcement, NLSIU Registrar Prof Sarasu Esther Thomas said: “The National Law School has always considered itself a faculty led institution. We are honoured by this ranking, and humbly acknowledge that the credit for this ranking must go to all those involved in teaching and research here. In the coming months, we aim to substantially strengthen these two core competencies.”
