Non-human animals are a core part of our society––so integral that our food systems, livelihoods, economy, and ecosystems will collapse if they are not protected. Hence, it would be valuable for a generation of lawyers, faced with the environmental and social crises of this century, to develop a holistic understanding of animal rights law and advance the next frontier of social justice. This course is foundational and standalone.
