Profile
Prakriti began her teaching career as an Assistant Professor of Law at Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna where she designed and delivered courses on direct, indirect, and international taxation.
Her academic and research interests lie primarily in tax law, particularly in international taxation, with a focus on corporate structuring and restructuring, treaty interpretation, and the taxation of cross-border commercial transactions. Her other academic interests include competition law, international commercial arbitration, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining the academia, Prakriti practised before the Delhi High Court in commercial and tax disputes. She also worked with the Corporate and International Tax team at KPMG Singapore, advising multinational clients on a range of cross-border and Singapore tax matters and assisting them in navigating multijurisdictional tax environments.
