The National Law School of India University and the University of Dublin have signed an MoU to develop and explore academic cooperation in short-term study programmes, movement of faculty, researchers and staff between the two institutions, development of academic and joint programmes and research in fields of mutual interest.
This partnership aims to develop a cooperative arrangement which will facilitate collaborative teaching, training, research and other activities that will further enhance the relationship between the two universities. This will be achieved through faculty and student exchange programmes, building collaborative networks, and producing research and publication material.
The MoU of the Student Exchange Agreement was signed by Ms Shauna Hughes – Director, Global Relations, Partnerships and Mobility (from University College Dublin, National University of Ireland, Dublin) and Prof. (Dr) Sudhir Krishnaswamy, Vice Chancellor (National Law School of India University, Bengaluru).
The UCD delegation visited the NLSIU Campus on 17 August 2026 and met with faculty members from NLSIU; the discussion was mostly centred around exploring research collaboration in fields of mutual interest along with exchange of faculty and researchers between the universities.
