Mahima Ray is a legal professional who completed her LL.B from Jindal Global Law School, where she was a three-time recipient of the Dean’s Award in recognition of her academic excellence.
During her time at law school, Mahima served as a founding board member of the India Policy Forum, a platform dedicated to fostering policy-driven research among students. She also co-founded Streeism Magazine, a publication centered on discussions of gender and caste issues in India amongst the youth, and served as an opinion columnist at Nickled and Dimed under the Centre for New Economic Studies.
She has also worked with the Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer Clinic for Legal Aid, providing welfare scheme awareness and legal assistance to rural communities. She has also worked with multiple NGOs on policy reforms around the treatment of rare diseases, gender and caste issues, and environmental concerns, through workshop management, compliance, and drafting.
