Course Description:

This course is an introduction to Mathematical Methods for Economics. It focuses on methods and models that  are essential to enable the students to understand and use the necessary mathematical tools required to follow core courses in Economics. The topics covered would be sets, functions, univariate calculus and optimization, linear  algebra, static analysis, multivariate calculus, optimization, dynamic analysis etc.
