Profile

Samragni is a storyteller and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practitioner whose work sits at the intersection of research, storytelling, and community-centered programme and narrative design. Her professional experience includes developing and facilitating workshops, leading theatre-based projects, and supporting cross-border collaborations, such as the Border Busters theatre exchange in Munich. She has developed, directed, and acted in more than 12 collaborative theatrical productions both within India and globally.

These include productions of Bravely Fought the Queen (2025), Thus Spake Shoorpanakha, So Said Shakuni (2025), Earthquake (2024-2025) and Constellations: A Queer Adaptation (2022-23). As a founder of three art collectives, The Ennui Collective, Ovrwrkd & Ovrkll, and Last Page Collective, she curates interdisciplinary experiences that explore sustainability, inequality, and queer identity. Samragni is a recipient of the 2023 Internationaler Kulturprojekte Grant from Munich and the 2015 Gender Bender Grant. Her expertise in DEI consulting involves using performance to build sensitization and awareness on unconscious bias, gender equity, neurodivergence, LGBTQIA++ inclusion and psychological safety for Fortune 500 companies across various sectors.
