Profile

Sanghamitra Dubey is an independent researcher working on the Implementation of Forest Rights Act for the last nine years. She has been with the social sector for almost a decade. She has collaborated with Tribal Research Institute Odisha for many research studies related to the Forest Rights Act (FRA).

She is also a member of the Community learning group which is a larger circle to understand FRA. As her own research interest is on Gender Studies, she is also involved with different women-led organisations, forums and networks. She is also a member of the Collective of lawyers and legal experts on Adivasi and forest rights. She is an Ethics committee member of Research wings under Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University. Her publications are available with – The Economic and Political Weekly, The Wire, Down to Earth and Routledge.

Research Interests

Her research interests include, tribes, gender and indigenous practices.
