Sushmita is Assistant Professor, Political Science at the National Law School of India University in Bangalore. Her research interests lie at the intersection of urban politics and political economy.
In her new book, she traces the social history of urban villages around Delhi and offers a new perspective on land, labor, and accumulation in urbanizing India.
