Alumni in the News | “From 2013 ISC topper to Harvard Law School: Bhuvanyaa Vijay’s journey of perseverance and growth”

NLS alumna Bhuvanyaa Vijay has been featured in the latest “Lessons from the Top” Series of the Indian Express. Bhuvanyaa graduated from the BA LLB (Hons) programme at NLSIU in 2018 and is currently an LLM candidate at the Harvard Law School.
During her time at NLS, she won 13 gold medals and was part of various student societies. She was also a member of the Moot Court Society and won prizes in moot court competitions including: Best Student Advocate, 20th Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition 2016 (Regional Rounds); and Young List’s Prize for Overall Runner-Up Written Memoranda, International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot Court Competition, 2015.
