Gargi Basu joined NLSIU as a Research Associate to work on the Just Transitions on Indian Streets (JusTIS) project. She did her B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology in Indraprastha College for Women (IPCW), University of Delhi, and her M.A. in Sociology in Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She pursued the Urban Fellows Programme (UFP) at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS). Her research interests include: labour, technology, sustainability, and media.
