The Centre for Labour Studies, NLSIU, along with the Association of Indian Labour Historians (AILH), invites papers for the 14th International Conference on Labour History, “Labour in the Time of Crises: New Frontiers, Old Challenges“, to be held at NLSIU, Bengaluru, from 11-13 March 2027.

Themes of the conference include Technology, AI, and the Crisis of Agency; Law, Regulation, and Rights of Labour; Migration, Agrarian Urbanism, and Global Shocks; Care Work, Domestic Labour, and Social Identities; and Labour Movements and the Praxis of Resistance. Panel proposals are also welcome.
