RM910 | Research Methodology

This is a skill-oriented course to facilitate research capacity for policy advice. The skills are later applied in the dissertation work in the second year, apart from client-led projects and internships. As part of the course, participants become confident to design a new research, to formulate the research problem and related questions, to design empirical strategies for data collection through both qualitative and quantitative tradition. Basics of SPSS are taught in hands-on labs as part of the class to analyse quantitative data.
