Profile

Dr. Sharada R. Shindhe is a law graduate from the University College of Law, Dharwad, with First rank, Distinction and two gold medals. She practiced before the High Court of Karnataka for almost a year before pursuing her LL.M. from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. In 2021, she joined NLSIU as an Assistant Professor of law, after working in the same capacity at Karnataka State Law University.

Dr. Shindhe has been awarded the prestigious Dr D.C.Pavate Memorial Fellowship at the Centre of International Studies/Department of Politics and International Studies at Cambridge University. Her articles have been published in various journals, and she has delivered special lectures on topics such as Consumer Law, Administrative Law, ADRs, Insurance Law, Contract Law and Family Laws. Currently, she teaches Family Laws and ADRs at NLSIU. Her Ph.D. thesis is focused on the area of arbitration.
