Sharada is a law graduate from University College of Law, Dharwad with First rank, Distinction and two gold medals. After practicing before the High Court of Karnataka for almost a year, she pursued LL.M from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. She worked at the Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) as Assistant Professor in 2013. She was awarded with the prestigious Dr. D.C.Pavate Memorial Fellowship at Centre of International Studies/Department of Politics and International Studies, Cambridge University.
