NLSIU and Mirae Asset Foundation announce Mirae Asset Scholarship to support student financial aid

The National Law School of India University is pleased to announce the launch of the Mirae Asset Scholarship, beginning from the Academic Year 2026–27. The scholarship is instituted with the support of Mirae Asset Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of Mirae Asset Financial Group, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University.
Mirae Asset Foundation supports initiatives aimed at advancing equitable access to education by fostering academic excellence, creating opportunities, recognising student achievement and leadership.
The Mirae Asset Scholarship is established to strengthen access to legal education by supporting deserving students admitted to NLSIU’s 3-year LL.B. (Hons.) and 1-year LL.M. programme. Under this initiative, Tuition fees will be extended to nine students annually.
The allocation and distribution of scholarship support will be administered in accordance with the University’s established Financial Aid Policy, ensuring that financial assistance reaches students based on need and institutional guidelines. Through this partnership, NLSIU continues to strengthen its commitment to ensuring that access to quality legal education remains inclusive and equitable, enabling meritorious students from diverse backgrounds to pursue academic and professional excellence.
