Working at the intersection of science, society, and governance studies, Rishabh’s interests lie in exploring how scientific knowledge is produced, legitimised, and contested in democratic settings. His doctoral work critically examined the co-production of scientific authority and public reason in India, focussing on the shaping of discourse around vaccines and vaccination by interactions between the state, scientific institutions, and the public.

He holds degrees in Biotechnology and Politics: International and Area Studies from Jamia Millia Islamia and International Relations and Governance Studies from Shiv Nadar IoE Deemed to be University.

He is passionate about how research can inform public reasoning and institutional practice. His writings seek to bridge disciplinary divides and his public facing works may be found here.
