An elective course covering 40 hours of classroom-based sessions will be offered as a part of the Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) that will align with the overall objectives of the post graduate programme. The course adopts a hybrid taught and practice approach. The main aim will be to equip students with foundational principles and practical tools required for technical assistance roles in policy implementation and administration. The greater emphasis will be on the practical aspects of design, delivery, and evaluation of programmes in complex, resource-constrained environments typical of the public sector. While this course will be foundational, it will also be complementary to MPP by introducing key skills that may not have been covered elsewhere in the Master’s curriculum.
