Profile

Arati is a Mumbai-based litigation lawyer. She practices before trial courts and the High Court of Bombay. Earlier in her career, she worked with solicitor firms before transitioning to human rights litigation, focusing on criminal and family law. Arati is empanelled with the Maharashtra Legal Aid Services Authority and has a diverse independent practice.

She also writes on online platforms focusing on issues related to law, society, and public life in India. Arati is committed to bridging academia and legal practice by strengthening access to justice and upholding the right to dignity through her litigation work.

Apart from her legal practice, Arati is a trained Odissi dancer, pursuing the art form for over fifteen years.
