Profile
Bharath previously taught Labour Law as an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School, and served as a Legislative Assistants to Members of Parliament (LAMP) Fellow to MP Asaduddin Owaisi (2020–21). He has consulted for organisations including NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE), Afronomics, New York University School of Law’s Center for Human Rights and Global Justice (CHRGJ), and UCLA School of Law’s Institute for Technology, Law & Policy (ITLP).
His ongoing research focusses on the institutional design and normative foundations of Democracy Perception Index (DPI) in the Majority World, with particular interest in healthcare and credit markets. His broader interests include the political economy of technology and development, constitutional theory, and human rights.
His work has appeared in the UCLA Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs, and NATO CCDCOE volumes.
