Profile

Ganesh has previously worked as a Guest Faculty in the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB), University of Delhi. He is the founder of a student academic forum, Speaking from Margin. He loves to write opinion pieces in newspapers and blogs on the issues of society and politics with contemporary relevance.

Ganesh is a Doctoral Candidate at the Centre for Political Studies, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His working PhD thesis title is “Emotions, Politics and Identity: Analysing Anger in Everyday Dalit Politics in Contemporary Uttar Pradesh”, which problematises the existing theoretical underpinnings of emotions and Dalit identity politics and discrimination through the empirically embedded fieldwork based on three events (violence and resistance) in three villages of UP. He holds an M.Phil degree from the Department of Political Science, University of Delhi, on the thesis titled “Politics of Recognition in Liberal Democracy: An Understanding of Epistemic Crisis of Dalit Bahujan Politics in India”, find out the reasons of the decline of the dominance of caste-based political parties and missing link of Dalit intellectual activism into it.
