Profile
Sidharth has earlier worked as a Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi (July 2008-May 2010) under the then Chief Justice of India K.G. Balakrishnan. After having briefly taught at NLSIU (July 2011-February 2013), he was part of the faculty at NALSAR Hyderabad for 11 years (June 2013-May 2024) before returning to NLSIU in June 2024.
His teaching and research engagements have primarily been in the fields of Indian Constitutional Law, Legal Philosophy and Comparative Public Law. His Ph.D. thesis is titled ‘Juridical Engagement With Electoral Reservations in India’, which was completed under the supervision of Dr. T. Kannan at NALSAR Hyderabad.
Furthermore, he is interested in following the scholarship related to the representations of law in literary works as well as socio-legal studies focussed on India. He is also keen to contribute to public education programmes and curriculum development exercises at Indian law schools.
