Postdoctoral Fellow on Just Transitions on Indian Streets project
Lakshyayog’s areas of research include mobility justice, gender, sports, and fitness infrastructures in Indian cities.
Previously, he worked with the World Resources Institute India and ActionAid India on issues related to gendered mobility, informal work, and climate-just urbanism. His writings have appeared in Social Change and edited volumes of Springer, Emerald, and other publishers.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Geography from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi, and a Master of Arts in Geography with specialisation in Regional Planning and Development from Centre for the Study of Regional Development, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He also completed his PhD in Urban Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
