Rahul is a lawyer and researcher. His research interests lie at the intersection of law, technology and governance especially on cyber laws, artificial intelligence regulation, and health care technology law and their interaction with constitutional and administrative law. Rahul has joined NLSIU as a Graduate Research Fellow under the JSW Centre for the Future of Law.

He has also practised in the District and Subordinate Courts in Thrissur, Kerala, handling a wide range of civil and criminal matters, which provided him with practical exposure to real world court proceedings and contemporary legal atmosphere.

Rahul holds an LLB degree from Government Law College, Kozhikode, and an LLM in Law and Technology from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata.
