Aditi specialises in urban geography and regional development. She delves into the complex dynamics of urbanisation processes in the Global South.
Her work engages critically with urban planning and policy frameworks, exploring how they intersect with, and often entrench, existing socio-spatial fault lines. Passionate about dissecting the layered urban geographies that characterise our cities, she specialises in qualitative research methodologies to bring forth insights that challenge conventional narratives.
She has recently submitted her doctoral thesis in Geography at the Centre for the Study of Regional Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her doctoral research focuses on how urban spaces shape and are shaped by the processes of segregation and exclusion.
