This course helps participants to understand the Constitution of India and the emerging
constitutionalism in the context of India’s journey from the days of colonial
rule to the national liberation movement to the present phase of globalization
and to reflect on the interdependence of the emerging social, cultural,
economic and political reality of India, its impact on the legal order and its
implications for policy choices
