How does this course relate to the programme curriculum: Does it develop on a prior course in the programme or is it a foundational or standalone course? Response: This is largely a standalone course on the law relating to crypto-assets, blockchain and allied subjects, as set out in the outline below. However, since the law on these subjects involves multiple legal concepts, it will build on students‟ concepts on constitutional law, financial sector regulations, and tax law. It will help them apply these legal principles to a discrete industry. This skill of applying first principles to a particular industry can be adapted to any new industry or emerging technology.
