Very often, the goals of the organizations meant to translate the policies into programmes don’t match with the public interest. Transformative leadership could bridge this gap. In this context, this course aims to to communicate meaningful research and knowledge about public policy leadership and address the philosophical, ethical, constitutional issues associated with the exercise of leadership in public policy domain. The course also aims to understand the role of ethics within organisations and contextual analysis of leadership- contexts, types, roles and behaviours at different maturity levels. Through a range of case studies, narratives, emerging lessons on patterns of leadership behaviours the course prepares participants to face the ethical challenges faced by organisations in 21st Century.
