Profile

David Mirchin is a partner in Meitar, Israel’s leading international law firm with over 550 legal professionals. He heads the 45-lawyer Commercial Technology Department and advises many cutting-edge Israeli high-tech companies (in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software, internet and content) in their commercial and intellectual property matters, particularly their cross-border agreements.

Prior to moving to Israel in 2001, he was the Vice President and General Counsel of SilverPlatter Information, an internet and software company based in London and Boston; and a commercial law associate in the Boston firms of McDermott, Will & Emery, and Mintz Levin, and a foreign lawyer in Tokyo with Konaka, Toyama & Hosoya.

He has taught the Masters in Technology and Law Program at Tel Aviv University Law School for the past nine years, and taught Internet Law at Reichmann University in Israel and Boston College Law School for 12 years prior to that. He has written three books on copyright law, and he is sure his mother is the only person who has ever read them.
