This course builds on the first trimester course on Economics. The economic reasoning for intervention,
and how methods of measuring the effectiveness of such interventions are taught as part of this course. A range of macro economic tools and theoretical models that are useful for policy advice are critically analysed. The course also
examines the theoretical models of development economics as well as institutional economics and its fit with policy advices.
