The Course titled, Health Services During the COVID Pandemic as a Seminar Course is an extensive Compulsory Course in a legal education as prescribed under Part II Schedule I of Rules of Legal Education, 2008.. Seminar Course provides overall development of advocacy skills, since it involves various schemes of evaluation such as Research, Group discussion and Presentation. The course is an elective subject mainly developed in continuation and extension of Torts-II (Consumer Protection Laws).

The course has been formulated on basis of consumer law to study the rights of consumers and evaluate the rights of consumers that are being violated during the pandemic. Considering the current Pandemic Situation in the Country, it has been designed to address core issues of consumers in various sectors such as medical, insurance and pharmaceutical during the pandemic. The trending Medico legal aspects have been covered in the course to make students familiar with the issues which are faced by the consumers in their daily life. Considering the exploitation of the consumers by private profit oriented companies insurance sector has also been included.
