Core course, mandated by BCI in undergraduate curriculum.  In law school scheme it develops on two prior courses viz., (i) Legal Methods (first Trimester), where the student is initiated in to the concept of interpretation of statutes; and (ii) Jurisprudence I, where hard-core legal concepts are dealt

The course is based on the standard syllabus prescribed by BCI, standard universities/law schools in India and abroad.

Nothing is excluded compared to a standard syllabus.  However, the methodology of ‘case studies’ (forced decision making) is intended to be adopted.

Primary and secondary reading materials are being suggested as annexure to this form

Lectures, discussions, case-study analysis are the predominant methods adopted
