Profile

Ajmal Khan is a multidisciplinary researcher of the environment.  His research analyses democratic and justice challenges in the context of state-led development, environmental change, and anthropogenic climate change. He has held postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard University (2022-23) and SOAS, University of London (2021-22), and prior to that, taught at Ashoka University and Ambedkar University in Delhi. He is the editor of People “Against Nuclear Energy: Anti-nuclear Movements in India” (Sage 2022).
