Climate Change has become the most urgent environmental concern globally, so the action to combat the impacts of Climate Change. The impacts of Climate Change are felt uneven around the world where South Asia is one of the most vulnerable regions. This graduate-level course on Climate Justice explores the multifaceted and pressing issue of climate change through the lens of social justice, ethics, and sustainable development, with a specific focus on its relevance and impact in the Indian context. Through a combination of lectures, discussions, case studies, and interactive exercises, students will gain a deep understanding of the ethical, legal, and political dimensions of climate change and its disproportionate effects on vulnerable populations around the world and in India.
