Profile
Attached to the Chambers of Ketan D. Parikh (Senior Advocate), Hussain Somji is an Advocate with experience and focus on ‘Dispute Resolution’ and practices as ‘Counsel’ to parties. He accepts appointments as ‘Arbitrator’ and ‘Mediator’. He holds an LLM (Arbitration and Dispute Resolution) from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and has recently concluded the Executive LLM (Commercial Law) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is admitted as ‘Fellow’ and as ‘Faculty’ with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). He also has undertaken 40 hours training in Mediation from the Accord Group, Australia. He serves as a ‘Member’ in the Core Committee with the CIArb YMG India Group, as ‘Mediator’ with the Association of Mediation Practitioners (AMP), as a Member with the Shia Imami Ismaili National Conciliation and Arbitration Board for India (NCAB) and was a ‘Member’ of the First Young MCIA Steering Committee.
