Research Associate

Job Description

Anchoring research activities under the project, collating and compiling the project report, compiling content for training programmes, publications and baseline/audit, and any other tasks for meeting project deadlines efficiently.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in law/social sciences/allied fields from a recognized University
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in legal research in human rights, preferably child rights
  • Sound academic record and published work in journals of repute
  • Proven fluency in written and spoken Kannada and English

Lawyer

Job Description

Managing legal representation at the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB). Coordinating with private and Legal Service Authority Lawyers, Case Management, Provide legal aid and assistance to children presented before the JJB and performing other tasks for meeting project deadlines efficiently. Carrying out research on child rights, developing training resources, coordinate training programmes, knowledge generation, and performing other tasks for meeting project deadlines efficiently.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law from a recognized University
  • Should be enrolled in the Bar Council and be eligible to represent before a court of law
  • At least two years of experience practicing before any court of law (OR) in legal research in human rights, preferably
    child rights
  • Proven fluency in written and spoken Kannada and English
  • Initiative and the ability to work on his/her own will be appreciated

Social Worker

Job Description

Preparation of social investigation reports (SIRs), review and improve their quality, conduct and supervise home visits, build institutional capacities for social work interventions, anchor activities with children in the observation home, and perform other tasks for meeting project deadlines efficiently.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in social work from a recognized University
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in direct engagement and providing social services to children and adolescents
  • Proven fluency in written and spoken Kannada and English
