Justin brings diverse experience across corporate, government, and higher education sectors. In his previous role as a Lead Venture Coach at GITAM (Deemed to be University), he was integral to creating a vibrant university-wide entrepreneurship ecosystem. He has also worked with the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, where he focused on addressing gaps in the employment market through outreach, research, and collaboration with academic institutions and government agencies.
Prior to that, he worked at Cognizant on strategic consulting projects across Healthcare, Banking & Financial Services and Organizational Change Management domains; and at Mobius Knowledge Services in Human Resources, with a focus on recruitment. Justin is a recipient of the 2019 International Labour Organization Fellowship in Turin, Italy, and the 2012 Ford Motor Company Global Scholars Scholarship in Washington D.C.
He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Chennai and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.
Ms. Jyoti Singh is Manager at the Department of Professional & Continuing Education (PACE). Jyoti holds an MBA with a dual degree in Marketing- Sales, and Operations and a strong operations background. She brings more than five years of work experience, having worked exclusively in the field of education. She joined us from upGrad Education Pvt. Ltd., where she was working as an Assistant Manager and handling online MBA programmes along with the sourcing of subject matter experts.
Jyoti believes in the holistic development of administrative operations, and her constant endeavour has been to create a balanced workspace that will result in better productivity. Through her work at PACE in the University, she hopes to work towards empowering the online legal educational system and making it accessible.
Madhu K S has been working with NLSIU since 2001. He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Mysore in 2000 and completed his M.Phil in Library and Information Science from Alagappa University in 2011. He has over 20 years of work experience in Library and Information Science Practice and Research.
Prior to working at NLSIU, he was a Resource Person for the Library Automation Project at Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysore, and a Library Trainee at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore. He also cleared his Karnataka State Eligibility Test in 2015.
At the NLSIU library, he is in charge of acquisition, cataloguing, and maintenance of theses & dissertations, and also handles assistive technology for the visually impaired. Other responsibilities include online and offline referral services, updating reading materials on LMS, maintaining question papers/answer keys, library orientation for new users, and management of information resources.
With a few published papers to his credit, his interest areas in research are: Use of social media in libraries, digital library and user’s study.

Publications
Manuja joined NLSIU in 2013, and worked in the Finance Department as Account Assistant and Cashier till 2022, and later shifted to the Academic Administration Department (AAD). Prior to NLSIU, she worked at the Bangalore University for two years. She has a bachelor’s degree in commerce (2011) from Bangalore University.
Meenakshi graduated with a degree in architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi (2003-2008) and specialized in urban design at the School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore (2013-2014). Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has worked on various projects, gaining experience in interiors, architecture, urban design, research, project management, execution, and academics.
She has collaborated with several organizations on projects of varying scales, ranging from urban design to interior design. These organisations include BMS College of Architecture, Clinikk, Sattva, IIHS, Turner, Kanvinde Rai & Chowdhury, Matra Architects & Rurban Planners.
At NLSIU, her responsibilities include providing campus-wide consultation, upgradation and proper functioning of all facilities on campus, coordination for planning, development and implementation of construction and/or repair programs within the broad area of engineering.
Tahir has over 16 years of experience in administration, purchase, office coordination, inventory and supply chain management. Tahir joined NLSIU in 2022 as Office Assistant and started working with the VC’s Office before making the shift to the Office of the COO. He was subsequently appointed as Assistant Manager-Operations in December 2024.
Prior to NLSIU, Tahir has worked as a Purchase Assistant, Coordinator and Admin in Tanseeq LLC and Tanseeq Projects LLC UAE; as a Warehouse System Clerk in Life HealthCare Group UAE; as a Warehouse IT & Admin in Dr. Nutrition Pharmaceuticals (DNP) UAE and as an Office Associate with Tata BP Solar India Ltd., Bangalore. He has also worked with Sobha Developers Pvt. Ltd. and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.
Tahir holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Business Studies from the University of Mangalore (2004) and a Diploma in Computer Studies (2005).
Nandita joined NLSIU in June 2021. She drives the University’s fundraising efforts by raising financial support from high networth individuals, corporates, alumni, foundations and the Government. Nandita has an MBA from INSEAD and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. She has previously raised funds for Ashoka University and worked as a management consultant in the UAE, India and Germany.
Nisha joined NLSIU in 2023 as an Executive in the PACE department. Prior to joining NLSIU, she was part of the Academic and Administrative Staff at MS Ramaiah Institution where she specialized in reporting, analysis, and efficient management of academic processes. Her responsibilities included problem-solving, course coordination with faculty, ensuring timely syllabus completion, question paper accuracy verification, timetable management, and overseeing online attendance. She has also previously worked as a Data Analyst at Advids Company for nearly two years, where she helped with driving strategic decision-making and enhancing business performance. She holds a a B.Sc degree in Physics, Maths and Computer Science (PMC), and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, both from Mount Carmel College.
Nishtha is an editor of academic and popular nonfiction writing, with a keen interest in bridging the two. She has worked in book and journal publishing, as well as independently with scholars, artists and filmmakers. At NLSIU, she manages research publications and extends editorial and publishing support to faculty and researchers. She also manages the NLSIU Scholarship Repository, an open-access platform that hosts journals and diverse scholarly writings by the NLSIU community.
As Co-Director of The Writing Centre, she is part of a team dedicated to strengthening reading, critical thinking and writing practices amongst the NLSIU student community. This includes teaching academic reading and writing, and holding one-on-one sessions at The Writing Studio.
Nishtha graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English literature from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, New Delhi, and a Master’s Degree in English literature from Delhi University. Trained as an editor at Yoda Press, Delhi, she went on to work with the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS), Bengaluru, where she helped drive publishing strategy across digital and print platforms, and co-curated a city-writings festival. She also served as writing faculty at IIHS’ Urban Fellowship Programme, and conducted writing workshops for researchers, academics and development sector professionals.
