Education Loan Assistance for Students
PM Vidyalaxmi Scheme
PM-Vidyalaxmi Scheme, a government initiative designed to provide collateral-free and guarantor-free education loans to meritorious students pursuing higher education at top institutions across India.
Key Benefits of the Scheme:
- Collateral-free, guarantor-free loans for higher education
- Loan coverage up to ₹30 lakh for eligible courses and institutions
- 3% interest subvention for students with a family income of up to ₹8 lakh (subject to terms and conditions)
- Full interest subvention for students with a family income of up to ₹4.5 lakh (for accredited technical and professional courses, subject to terms and conditions)
Eligibility Criteria:
- No income limit for loan eligibility
- Interest subvention based on family income and other conditions
- Eligible courses include Engineering, Management, Medical, Law, Pharmacy, and more

Application Process:
- Apply for admission at an eligible institution.
- Confirm admission and obtain required documents.
- Apply for a loan via the PM-Vidyalaxmi Portal: https://pmvidyalaxmi.co.in.
- Submit the loan application to selected banks (students can choose up to 3 banks).
- Loan approval and disbursal by the selected bank.
- Track loan application status through the portal.
- Apply for interest subvention (if eligible) through the portal and redeem via the PM-Vidyalaxmi Digital Rupee App.

- Loan Tracking & Grievance Resolution: Students can track their loan application and raise concerns through the PM-Vidyalaxmi portal.
- Dedicated Support: A toll-free helpline (1800 1031) is available for assistance.
- Participating Banks: 48 banks, including public sector, private, regional rural, and cooperative banks, are on board.
National Divyangjan Finance and Development Corporation Scheme
The National Divyangjan Finance and Development Corporation (NDFDC), under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, offers concessional education loans to support students with disabilities in pursuing higher education and professional training courses both in India and abroad.
Key Benefits of the Scheme:
- Loan assistance up to ₹50 Lakhs for educational and training courses
- Nominal interest rate of 4% p.a.
- Available through leading banks including Punjab National Bank, IDBI Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, J&K Bank Ltd, and 17 Regional Rural Banks

Private Scholarships
Kotak Kanya Scholarship
Kotak Kanya Scholarship programme was launched in 2021 by Kotak Education Foundation and provides financial assistance to meritorious girl students from financially challenged backgrounds to complete their higher education. The scholarships under this Scheme will be granted to deserving young women from across India, enabling them to continue their educational journey and pursue their ambitions without the burden of financial constraints. Along with the scholarship, key features of the program include mentorship support, finishing school training and life skill support required for holistic support.

Aditya Birla Scholarship
M/s. Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai provides this scholarship to students based on their CLAT ranks (i.e the top 20 ranks). The Trust collects the details from all National Law Universities and sanctions the scholarship based on their own selection process, following which the names of the awardees are communicated to the University. The University is no where involved in the process of selection of candidates. The Aditya Birla Scholarship covers the entire fee including the hostel charges (Max. of Rs.1,80,000/-) and once sanctioned, will be continued till the completion of the programme (subject to terms and conditions of the scholarship).
ICCR Scholarship
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India is providing scholarships to Foreign National students by following their own selection process. The ICCR informs the names of the selected candidates to the University and accordingly, candidates have to submit their report in the prescribed format along with fee structure of the University. ICCR is paying the scholarship amount equivalent to Indian nationals which covers the entire fee including the hostel charges, and will continue till the completion of the programme subject to terms and conditions, which includes that students should not be detained in any of the years.
